Delete your Mizanly account or financial data

This public page gives you direct control over deletion without reinstalling or opening the Android app. You can also use the in-app path at Settings → Account & Data.

Secure deletion

Self-service deletion

Sign in with the same email and password used for your Mizanly account. Sign-in is handled directly by Firebase Authentication over HTTPS. This page does not intentionally store or log your password.

Mizanly email Password

For your protection, the temporary web sign-in uses in-memory authentication and is signed out after a deletion attempt.

I understand that permanent account deletion cannot be undone and removes my Mizanly login, finance workspace, Pro entitlement record, and Mizanly-side billing records linked to this account. It does not cancel or refund Google Play purchases or subscriptions, and an existing purchase may not transfer to a new Mizanly account.

Keep your login

Financial-data-only deletion

This keeps your Mizanly login and any valid Mizanly Pro entitlement, but deletes the finance workspace stored by Mizanly, including current records such as:

accounts, balances, transactions and transfers;
categories, budgets, savings goals and contributions;
loans, repayments, bills and recurring transactions;
credit-card tracking, net-worth snapshots and deleted/trash records.

Your profile remains so you can set up a fresh workspace afterward.

Remove the account

Permanent account deletion

After a valid request, Mizanly's backend deletes:

your Firebase Authentication account;
your Mizanly profile and complete Firestore user tree;
financial workspace records and all user subcollections;
the server-side Mizanly Pro entitlement document;
Mizanly-side purchase and billing-notification records directly linked to your Firebase user ID.

A minimal one-way deletion marker may be retained for security so delayed Google Play billing events cannot recreate data for the deleted account. It does not contain your email, financial records, purchase token, or account profile.

Before you delete

Keep anything you need

Export or back up important records first. Deleted Mizanly data cannot be restored unless you already have a valid backup.

Review paid access

Permanent deletion removes Mizanly-side Pro entitlement records, but it does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription or issue a refund.

Check Drive backups

If you also want Google Drive app-data backups removed, delete them before account deletion or manage the app's stored data through your Google account where available.

Billing

Google Play subscriptions and purchases

Deleting Mizanly data does not cancel or refund a subscription or purchase managed by Google Play and does not delete Google's independent purchase history. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play if you no longer want future charges.

Before permanent account deletion: Mizanly Pro purchases are securely bound to the Mizanly account that initiated them. Permanent deletion removes the Mizanly-side entitlement and billing link. If you later create a different Mizanly account, an existing Google Play purchase may not transfer to that new account.

If you need help with a paid purchase or subscription status, contact ZarMasTech support before permanently deleting the account.

Optional backup

Google Drive backups

Mizanly backups are stored in the hidden app-data area of your own Google Drive account. Mizanly does not retain the Google Drive credentials needed to delete those backups after an external web deletion request.

If you want the backup removed too, delete it from Mizanly's Backup & Restore screen before deleting the account, or manage the app's stored data through your Google account where available.

Alternative request

Can't use self-service deletion?

You can request deletion by email instead. Send the request from the email address associated with your Mizanly account whenever possible. ZarMasTech may request reasonable verification before processing a deletion request in order to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.

Retention

Retention and third-party data

Mizanly does not intentionally retain your active finance workspace after permanent account deletion. A minimal one-way deletion marker may be retained for security to prevent delayed backend or Google Play billing events from recreating deleted account data.

Information maintained independently by Google Play, Google Drive, Google/Firebase operational systems, or other service providers may remain subject to those providers' own retention obligations. Limited deletion-request correspondence may also be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Important: deleting your Mizanly account does not automatically erase records that a third-party provider is independently required or permitted to retain under its own terms, policies, or legal obligations.
